faith
faith, the unseen trust in an unseen God
the most powerful hope in an omnipotent God
it trancends this physical sphere
into the heavenly realms
the binding chord between my Father and me
the unspeakable bond, the unfailing truth
not i who believe but He that allows this belief
such great promise concealed in this little faith
the beauty of this substance
lies not in the way it works n
nor the mysteries of its nature
but rather
Your willingness in giving it to me
Lord
the One who died for me
i do not ask for mountain moving faith
nor extraordinary faith
but this simple faith
to hold Your hand and let You lead
to shut my eveys in darkness and trust in You
just keep it glowing
and through this little faith
the trust i have in You for all things
be it great or small
may You be seen in me
