pain in itself is never scary or fearful...because no one remembers the pain..how it lingers in us...what is fearful is the scar pain leaves behind..a memento mori that opens up and smiles at us whenever we see it...then..we start feeling the pain all over again...and now.if we ponder more carefully..we realize that the real torture is the memory..the vivid memories of events or people that slowly crawls its way into us..turning every emotion in despondency and melancholy and sadness...and worse still..sometimes we don't even know..we don't even realize where we are in the world of emotions...
