if we stand before the cross

tried to absorb what happened

every single moment

we would stand amazed and awed

unable to fully comprehend and grasp

the gravity of the whole matter

even if we combined all human intellect and reason

we stand powerless to rationalise His death

because what took place was out of love and not out of logic

even if it was, it was out of God's logic

we can't understand

only when we see and recognise where it all started

we drop to our knees and cry

`what a might God we serve'

then our praises will be the song

of a million angels

sang throughout all ages

the song of love over humanity

resonating through eternity
